Ege Kimya’s approach to polyurethane chemistry centres on innovation and sustainability. Their EGECat® range offers high-performing, low-toxicity and environmentally friendly alternatives to tin, lead and mercury catalysts.
Catalyst products include:
- Isocyanate trimerisation catalysts based on potassium octoate/potassium acetate—used in a variety of rigid foam applications.
- Bismuth and zinc-based catalysts with a high gelling effect. Used as alternatives to traditional tin and mercury catalysts.
- Additionally, Ege Kimya offer a product combining both bismuth & zinc carboxylates, which achieves a fast curing profile along with several benefits to the resulting material.
