Zenolatum® 6800 from TC USA offers formulators a naturally derived, biodegradable alternative to petrolatum. It is a unique all-vegetable film former offering a moisture retention effect thus counteracting trans-epidermal water loss, and provides excellent water repellency.
When compared to traditional petroleum based ingredients, Zenolatum® 6800 offers better skin compatibility, as well as being non-irritating and non-comedogenic. It is easily incorporated into the oil phase, and has good oxidative stability, providing a soft sensorial effect without tackiness.
