Zenolatum® 6800 is a unique all-vegetable film former and moisturiser alternative to petrolatum, petroleum jelly, and other petrochemical based raw materials used in cosmetic preparations. It offers a moisture retention effect thus counteracting trans-epidermal water loss, and provides excellent water repellency. When compared to traditional petroleum based ingredients, Zenolatum® 6800 offers better skin compatibility plus it is non-irritating and non-comedogenic. It is easily incorporated into the oil phase and has good oxidative stability, providing a soft sensorial effect without tackiness.
