Procedure

1 Aqueous Phase (A):
2 Add ingredients #1, #2, and #3 to main beaker, then sprinkle in #4 and leave to wet for 15 minutes.
3 Begin mixing with dispersing blade at high speed until uniform.
4 Add ingredients #5, #6, #7, and #8 and continue mixing until uniform.
5 Begin heating to 80 ºC.
6 Oil Phase (B):
7 In a separate container, add ingredients #9, #10, #11 and #12 and heat to 80 ºC while mixing.
8 Once both vessels reach target temperature, add Phase-B to Phase-A.
9 Completion:
10 Homogenize at 3,000 rpm for 2 minutes then at 4,000 rpm for 3 minutes.
11 Move to mixer and begin cooling while mixing at low speed with paddle blade.
12 At 50 ºC add ingredients #13, #14, and #15.
13 Cool to room temperature and adjust pH if required.
