Nourishing Hair Mask

A non-greasy natural conditioning hair mask containing natural anti-oxidants and vitamins whilst being fast absorbing with a light texture. Formulated with Zenigloss® Q to provide conditioning and detangling to the hair with no build up. Butter-Plus™ E delivers effective barrier properties, combined with great moisturisation and excellent emolliency. Essachem® PVL derived from Sacha Inchi Seed Oil, provides an ideal silicone fluid alternative rich in beneficial fatty acids (Omega-3, 6 & 9).

Procedure

1 Aqueous Phase (A):
2 Add ingredients #1 and #2 to main beaker, mix using a propeller blade at moderate speed till uniform.
3 Add #3 to the beaker while mixing until uniform.
4 Add #4 and #5 and continue mixing till uniform.
5 Begin heating to 80 ºC.
6 Oil Phase (B):
7 In a separate beaker, add ingredients #6, through #11, and heat to 80 ºC while mixing.
8 Once both vessels reach target temperature, add Phase-B to Phase-A under high shear.
9 Completion:
10 Homogenize at 2,200 rpm for 5 minutes.
11 Move to mixer and begin cooling while mixing at low speed with paddle blade.
12 Cool to room temperature and adjust pH if required.
