A lightweight silicone-free hair oil for shiny ends with natural antioxidants and vitamins. Formulated with Essachem® PVL to deliver silicone-free shine derived from Sacha Inchi! Essachem® SILK-100 provides a light, non-greasy, soft and silky feel whilst Essachem® AR-5 is designed to offer exceptional, dry sensory properties.

Procedure

1 This is a Single Phase Anhydrous Formulation:
2 Add Ingredients 1-8 and mix until incorporated with propeller blade.
3 Completion:
4 When both vessels are at 80 ± 1 °C add Phase-B to the main vessel containing Phase-A and homogenize for 6
5 minutes at 1,200 rpm and then 4 minutes at 1,600 rpm.
6 Adjust pH with #16 and continue to homogenize for 5 more minutes at 1,200 rpm.
7 Return back to regular mixing and begin cooling to 60 ± 1 ºC under moderate speed.
8 When main vessel is at 60 ± 1 °C add #11 and continue mixing until uniform.
9 Continue cooling under agitation.
10 When main vessel temperature reaches 50 ± 1 ºC add #12 and #13.
11 At 40 ± 1 ºC, add all of Phase-D to the main vessel while mixing.
12 If desired add #15, and adjust pH to final target using #16 and #17 as required.
13 Continue to cool until room temperature.
